As the deadline nears for the conversion of the Slovak crown to the Euro, new interesting investment opportunities arise for Slovak investors. The aim of the IAM EURO convergent fund is to enable Slovak investors to participate in yields, which are likely to result from such opportunities.
The fund’s goal is to provide investors with a higher return than traditional Slovak crown denominated bond funds, whilst keeping the EUCF fund within a similar level of risk. The strategy is to reduce exposure to Slovak and other adhering countries'' fixed income securities in favour of Euro fixed income securities. The fund may also have a limited exposure to alternative investments.
